As I look inside this bowl elements of folk art, Brancusi, the 60's, the cactus and Jacob's ladder come to mind. The circles outside are really just circles, but I love their symmetry and the combinations of colors in the differing panels. Here, I like the fluid inside contrasted with the squared off outside.
